Bomford Turner Flailbot
Our latest addition
The Bomford Turner Flailbot is a machine on a whole new level – literally. Allowing us to work on a 55% lateral angle and 140% vertically, this machine can get into places that we can’t.
By changing the head between the mower and mulcher, we can adapt to a variety of jobs but more importantly work safer and quicker.
MEWP (Mobile Elevated Work Platform)
Requiring and unsafe, dangerous or dead tree removed we have our 23 metre tracked mewp for being able to safely dismantle trees in any location. Access width of just 36inch allows us to gain access to the smallest of locations. Also a very useful tool for large hedge cutting and reductions with 12metre outreach.
Unimog mounted crane
Whether it be a large amount of timber or awkward location our unimog mounted hiab crane with reach of 18metres allows to efficiently and safely remove large sections of tree or timber over obstacles with the need for multi cuts or movements. Also minimises the need for conventional rigging techniques to be required.
Unimog and Wholetree Chipper
Supplied to us by the well established Unimogs dealer Atkinson Vos, the Unimog is fitted with a whole tree chipper for the processing of larger quantities of brash and bigger timber to a useable Woodchip product. Usually works in conjunction with the 2 or 6 ton excavator and timber grab for loading, is has become a very efficient and safe way to process out waste on site.
Stump Grinder
After a removal of a tree, we normally offer out stump grind service to the stump and ensure nothing is left. We can also offer the removal of old, previously felled trees should you require and having a selection of sizes of grinders we have one for all locations.
Excavators
Operatoring two excavators, 2 and 6 ton we have increased our productivity greatly by loading chippers and trailers with processed timber and brash but also for those sites which are ground pressure sensitive we use the diggers fitted with rubber tracks. Furthermore to this our 6 ton digger can offer the tree shear for the thinning or removal of large quantities of trees.
Van and Chipper
The workhorse of the business. Stores all the tools & equipment along with all our personal kit for climbing.
As the Unimog is sometimes too big, we are able to use this as an alternative.
