Commercial Tree Removal
Here’s a nice job to start the week. We were contracted by one of our commercial clients to remove a Willow tree from a drainage pond. After having an independent nesting bird survey carried out we got the green light.
Dylan grabbed his waders and jumped straight in clearing all the small stems and low branches! This left James to utilise our Unimog and Crane to fit slings in the top of all the large stems.
In doing this we could lift then out in 1 or 2 pieces and feed them straight into the Chipper. Saving us some back breaking work and also any unnecessary disturbance to the area.
Lytham Hall Mount
You may have seen recently that the famous Lytham Hall Mount was sadly being overtaken with bramble and self seeding sycamores. It has been a number of years since the steps were restored and the Mount cleared of growth, therefore it was definitely due again.
This work can be dangerous due to the steep slopes and the thick dense bramble can make it treacherous, therefore professional tree surgeons was called in. Many thanks to Ben and his team at HMA Treecare who took care of this task.
The team brought in their remote controlled muncher designed especially for this type of job along with other equipment to tackle the tedious slopes. We have to say HMA have done an amazing job as they always do.
This project was kindly sponsored by the Friends of Lytham Hall who have donated the funds to complete this necessary work. Let’s now hope it is another few years before it requires it again.
The historic Mount at Lytham Hall is very significant to the site and happens to be the highest point in Lytham. It was once home to an ice house on its North Western slope and the Clifton flagpole stood on its summit.
St Pauls Warton
St Pauls Warton lovely to be working at your church today and thank you for the great brew.
EMERGENCY CALL OUT
Emergency tree surgeon call out to a failed beech tree from recent winter storm. The works involved removal of the failed stem from the property with our purpose built crane to avoid any further damage to the roof and all completed within 4 hours of the phone call to minimise any further disruption for our client.
